They source the cocoa beans from around the world from origins known for their distinctive taste - Ecuador, Madagascar, Venezuela, Ivory Coast and most recently Haiti.
The founder Paul Eagles used his expertise from a career in coffee shops to develop a tablet of single origin hot chocolate that makes creating hot chocolate in a busy cafe so much quicker than using powder. The country still needs additional support to recover from the earthquake so this is an ongoing project but luckily the cocoa they grow is amongst the best in the world - which makes our Haiti 75% so delicious that it won the Gold Award in 2015 at the Academy of Chocolate.
